It covers the tariff and implementation principles for the Baggage Services provided by the Airport/Terminal Operators operating under the PPP Projects tendered by the DHMI General Directorate.
A contract covering special and general conditions is arranged with the person or organization carrying the baggage. Organizations that make a contract for baggage transportation services are responsible for these services.
The determination and declaration of the income obtained from the Baggage Transportation (Porter) Tariff are made by the Airport/Terminal Operators to the DHMI. In case this service is provided by third parties, the sales declaration is made to the DHMI by the Airport/Terminal Operators.
Fees higher than those specified in the tariff cannot be charged for baggage transportation.
The principles that the organization providing the service will comply with and apply are determined by a contract arranged between the Airport/Terminal Operator and the organization.
The organization providing the service posts the tariffs in visible places indicated by the Airport/Terminal Operator and ensures that the service providers have pocket tariffs.
For airports such as Istanbul, Antalya, Adnan Menderes, Muğla Dalaman, and Milas Bodrum, where there is no income item under the name of Baggage Transportation Income in the Lease/Implementation/Concession contracts signed between DHMI and Airport/Terminal Operators, half of the income obtained from baggage transportation is paid to DHMI.
The fees in the tariff do not include VAT.
